The Old Tavern Summer Menu

Dinner is served every evening in our dining room from 6-9 p.m. Reservations are appreciated, 802-843-2231.


Appetizers ($4 to 13)

Old Tavern Zesty Gazpacho with herbed creme fraiche

This Evening's Featured Soup

Sesame Crusted Ahi Tuna, lightly seared with wasabi drizzle, Asian slaw and micro greens

Mussels Tavern Style simmered with chorizo, McNeill's beer, shallots, kale and roasted garlic, then topped with fresh herbs and crusty croutons

House Cured Cravlox Caesar Salad, classic dressing, croutons, smoked bacon and parmesan cheese
-Our Classic Caesar is also offered

Asian Inspired Salad of Gala apple, Asian greens, Grafton Cheddar, toasted pistachios, crumbled bacon and orange-ginger vinaigrette

Entrees ($18 - 31)

Guava Crusted Marinated Vermont Pork Chop with sweet potato hash, grilled heirloom squash and blackberry-port reduction

Lightly Blackened Red Snapper with creamy dill and cucumber rice, haricot verts, baby carrots and cucumber-cilantro cream

Charbroiled Grass-Fed Vermont Strip Steak with green peppercorn-zinfandel reduction, fresh asparagus and roasted garlic Grafton cheddar mashed potatoes

Lobster Fettuccini made in our own kitchen and tossed with lobster, artichoke hearts, roasted red pepper, basil, baby greens and sherried cream sauce with a thin slice of brie

Panko Crusted Chicken Roulaude stuffed with pesto, goat cheese, fresh garden vegetables and caramelized leeks with roasted red pepper coulis and roasted purple potatoes

Summer Squash and Heirloom Zucchini "Spaghetti" tossed with Old Tavern heirloom tomatoes and basil cream sauce, then topped with fresh herbs and parmesan
